Precautions to Using Automatic Screw Locking Machine

Date:2024-10-10

Single & multi-spindle automatic screwdriving machine work with robotic positioning systems. They can automate the screw driving process along manufacturing assembly lines. Following precautions to using automatic screw locking machine.
Yoda automatic screwdriving machine applications

1. Installation and commissioning stage
Installation Environment:
Choose a stable, dry and well-ventilated site to install the automatic screw locking machine. Avoid use in humid, high-temperature, dusty, or strongly vibrating environments to avoid affecting the performance and life of the device.
Make sure there is enough space in the installation location for easy operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Power Connection:
Connect the power supply in strict accordance with the requirements of the equipment manual to ensure that the voltage and frequency are stable. Use power cords and outlets that meet the requirements of the equipment, avoid using inferior or damaged power cords, and prevent electrical accidents.
Install a grounding protection device to ensure that the equipment is well grounded to prevent leakage and static interference.
Commissioning and Running:
Before debugging the equipment, read the equipment manual carefully to understand the operation methods and precautions of the equipment.
During the debugging process, the professional and technical personnel will operate and follow the debugging steps of the equipment step by step to ensure that all parts of the equipment function normally.
Check whether the screw feeding system, locking mechanism, control system, etc. are running smoothly, and adjust or repair them in time if there is any abnormality.
2. The operation and use stage
Screw Specification Selection:
According to the screw specifications of the product, choose the appropriate automatic screw locking machine model and accessories. Make sure that the diameter, length, head shape, etc., of the screws match the requirements of the equipment.
Use screws of uniform specifications and avoid mixing screws of different sizes, which may cause the device to jam screws or lock poorly.
Operational Specifications:
Operators should be professionally trained and familiar with the operation methods and safety precautions of the equipment.
Operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures of the equipment, and do not change the parameters and settings of the equipment without authorization.
During operation, pay attention to observe the operating status of the equipment, and stop the equipment immediately and check if any abnormal situation is found.
Scheduled Maintenance:
Formulate an equipment maintenance plan and regularly maintain the automatic screwdriving machine. This includes cleaning equipment surfaces, inspecting screw feeding systems, lubricating moving parts, inspecting electrical systems, and more.
Replace worn accessories in time, such as screwdriver bits, feeding pipes, guide rails, etc., to ensure the performance and accuracy of the equipment.
Security Protection:
When the equipment is running, it is strictly forbidden to put hands or other objects inside the equipment to avoid danger.
Install necessary safety guards, such as protective covers, safety doors, etc., to prevent operators from being injured.
Set up obvious safety warning signs around the equipment to remind other personnel to pay attention to safety.
3. Troubleshooting and maintenance stage
Fault Diagnosis:
When the equipment fails, the equipment should be stopped first, and the fault diagnosis should be carried out. The cause of the fault can be determined by observing the operating status of the equipment, checking the alarm information of the equipment, and analyzing the electrical schematic diagram of the equipment.
Repair Method:
For some simple faults, it can be eliminated by the operator, such as cleaning the stuck screws, adjusting the screw feeding system, etc. However, for complex faults, repairs should be carried out by professional technicians.
When repairing the equipment, the correct tools and methods should be used to avoid secondary damage to the equipment.
After the repair is completed, the automatic screwdriving machine is debugged and tested to ensure that the equipment is restored to normal operation.
